Behind the Brand

Belk Ambassadors Share Brand Love on Southern Campuses

Roll call! Belk is increasing college campus engagement by introducing an inaugural class of College Ambassadors – seven Gamecocks from the University of South Carolina and seven Hokies from Virginia Tech – who were selected to share the retailer’s brand story with consumers who are loyal to their alma mater.

Whether it’s on-campus or online, ambassadors will raise awareness about Belk’s national and private brand portfolio, community outreach programs and upcoming promotions.

You can follow Belk ambassadors to tap into shopping adventures via their Insta Stories, find Belk on campus during welcome week and more. Whether it’s social media engagement or driving traffic into stores, students are responsible for putting Belk in front of an expanded group of future customers.

What’s in it for them? The perks are sweet. They’ll gain access to Intern Queen (internship/career advice) and Belk execs, receive a letter of recommendation, network with fellow reps and more.

Meet Belk’s inaugural class of College Ambassadors:

University of South Carolina
